The Greek Youth Ch u16 was organised in Thessaloniki. Twenty teams participated from all over Greece and after 6 round the final ranking was :

Congratulations for the gold medal to team Evoiki. Second and third place for teams from Thessaloniki, is a hopeful sign for the city’s chess academies. First six teams have direct access to the next year’s final phase. Worth mentioning is Xanthi’s appearance while Kavala’s absence from the top places is quite a surprise.
