A few days ago our dear friend Filippos unfortunately passed away due to health problems . Our dearest condolences to his family .

He was one of the most vibrant members of our chess club ,inspiring kids to  take on chess ! We will never forget him ,in his memory our club organised the 1st online chess blitz tourn on lichess named after him.The event reached the hights of  450 participants among them the world champion finalist super GM B. Gelfand honored our effort an we kindly thank him ! We would like to thank all the participants and promise to organise even better events in the future to come .
